He transcends not only the sport, but time. As much as I hated him while he was playing because I am a Knicks fan (I know...), it was still amazing to watch him play. How many kids growing up wanted to be him? He was, is, and always will be the best of all time, the player to which all future players (and athletes) are compared. He's an American icon. Nuff said.
