About

We came together under extraordinary circumstances and became four good friends.  Our shared interests include saving lives, running,  volunteering and enjoying life with our family and friends. We fundraise on behalf of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS).  All of us can say that LLS has done just as much for our lives as it has for the people it serves. And for that, we will be ever grateful. What we don’t have in common only makes us more unique as a group and a single point cannot define our friendship.

Everything in life comes down to one question, “Is There Any Cake Left?”  As a group, we’ve determined that the answer to this metaphor simply is “yes.”  No matter how difficult things may have been, there was always a nice piece of frosty cake waiting for us in the end.  The cake wasn’t necessarily a reward, but a sign that things would and will eventually get better.

We hope you find humor through our blogs, random observations and editorials.  We can’t promise all our posts will be well-reasoned or follow a logical thought process.  Let’s face it, life isn’t either of those.  But, we can promise cake; for life without cake is like receiving a rain check for a date; not cool.

We dedicate this site to our family and friends.  The way we live our lives is a tribute to your love and support.

And we give much thanks to the nuts and other ingredients that make these pieces of cake possible…without you, there’d be no reason to ask….

Is There Any Cake Left?
